About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
The main purpose of the role is to work within the Upper GI multi-disciplinary team to ensure a seamless co-ordinated
approach to person centred care, across the surgical and oncology pathway. The cancer CNS will act as the keyworker for
patients with hepato-biliary and pancreatic malignancy as part of the HPB/ Upper GI team. They will work in a
professional manner to co-ordinate and promote timely onward referrals to other professionals and agencies as
appropriate. The post holder will have a primary focus on Hepta-Biliary and Pancreatic (HPB) cancer and will be expected
