IBD Clinical Nurse specialist
About the Role
Leads the development, management and promotion of the service ensuring the delivery of high quality, cost-effective
care. Applies advanced knowledge and insight from key stakeholders and experiences of patients to lead services
re-design, stimulate innovative practice, implement improvements and ensure services are responsive to patients needs.
Promotes the philosophy of person-centred care, co-creating care with people affected by IBD. To provide an autonomous
specialist nursing service to IBD patients by attending referrals and delivering holistic care to patients. Work in
partnership with the patient and their family/carers to promote self-care and independence wherever possible through
