About the Role

Transport patients in a safe manner as required, via wheelchair, beds and trolleys to and from the Imaging department.

Escort, when necessary, walking patients to and from wards and departments. Observe and maintain the comfort of the

patient in their care at all times. Ensure that correct and safe systems of work are employed at all times with extra

care shown to the safety of patients. Show care and attention to all patients especially those that are concerned and/or

disadvantaged. Participate in urgent transfer of critically ill patients between departments, wards and I.C.U You will

at times work in extremely emotional circumstances where you will be expected to show understanding and sympathy.
