About the Role
As an Inclusion Support Worker, you will support young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, fostering trust and resilience. Collaborating with teachers and families, you will help students engage positively with their education, providing tailored support in both classroom and community settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEMH and additional needs.
- Assist students’ emotional regulation and promote positive relationships.
- Prepare classrooms and learning materials before lessons.
- Lead small group activities and individual learning sessions.
- Implement effective behaviour support strategies.
- Maintain accurate pupil records, including progress and behaviour data.
- Supervise pupils during breaks and educational visits.
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Experience in a school, care, or youth setting.
- Experience supporting children with SEN or SEMH needs.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English.
- Willingness to undertake Team Teach training.

Compensation
Salary is £22,604 per annum for a 32.5-hour work week.
Location & Schedule
Based in Deighton, working Monday to Friday during term time, with specific hours for CPD.
