About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
This post is to promote, support and co-ordinate breastfeeding services and the implementation of best practice for
breastfeeding using current best practice standards with a view to improving breastfeeding outcomes across the acute
setting within the Southern Sector of the WHSCT. A key role of the post will be to lead on and implement recommendations
from WHSCT, PHA and DHSSPS breastfeeding agenda and able to effectively lead the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI),
providing women with appropriate individualised care and facilitate/support the Tongue Tie service. The post holder will
