Infection Prevention and Control Nurse, Band 6
About the Role
The role duties would include: - Support patient ward rounds e.g. Nurse led C. difficile ward rounds and AMS ward rounds
- Administration of novel CDI therapies such as Faecal Microbiota transplants - Advising and supporting staff with IPC
issues - Completing IPC audits and surveillance and engaging with ward and departments to support their delivery of
remedial action plans - Teaching on related study days and delivery and review of educational packages once confident to
do so - Division and system wide meeting attendance and participation - Exposure to external IPC conferences and
regional meetings - Completion of post infection reviews - Management and monitoring of outbreaks - Leading and
