Infection Prevention & Control Nurse Lead
About the Role
The post holder will work with the Head of Physical Health and Physical Health Site Practitioners (PHSPs) to provide
specialist nursing input in the identification, prevention, monitoring, and control of infection across our Trust.
Contributing to the development and implementation of IPC guidelines and initiatives. Holding managerial responsibility
for leading and coordinating the IPC environmental audits, whilst having the ability to work autonomously, leading IPC
investigations and issues as they arise is essential. Attendance at relevant committees representing IPC will be
required. Creating systems and structures that support the assurance of safe IPC practices are essential. The post
