Infection Prevention Sister/Charge Nurse
About the Role
A major focus of the role will be the provision of Infection Prevention expertise, advice, support and training to
designated areas across the Health Board. This will involve extensive travel across the sector to support staff in a
range of settings including community hospitals, clinics and other Health Board premises, care homes and primary care
facilities. The postholder will be responsible for planning and delivering agreed programmes of audit and training, such
as a care home link staff programme across the sector, and will work in collaboration with the other Infection
Prevention Sisters/Charge Nurses within the team to achieve consistency and effective delivery across the Health Board.
