About the Role
The vacancy is a Band 6 specialist nurse post in inflammatory bowel disease. We have posts available at Manchester Royal
Infirmary, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester Hospital. The post holder willwork closely with all members of the
gastroenterology team based at MFT to ensure that patients receive seamless IBD care within the Trust and community. To
provide specialist advice to support assessment, planning and implementation of care for patients with IBD and where
appropriate to deliverprogrammesof care. To carry out specialist nursing procedures. To contribute to specialist
education and trainingprogrammesfor other staff and learners.
