Inpatient Ward Manager

About the Role

To lead, manage and support the IPU team to deliver an efficient holistic palliative care service, that can respond

flexibly to patient and carer needs and is focused on achieving agreed outcomes for the patient. To manage and inspire a

multidisciplinary workforce from novice to expert, including volunteers,to work as one team. To actand practiceas a

senior clinician in the IPU team and, as required, the wider organisation. To innovate and streamline IPU team processes

and services by embedding quality improvement methodology,including clear outcome measures to produce efficient and

highly performing inpatient services. To build strong relationshipswithin the team and across the Hospice setting To
