Integrated Community Midwife

About the Role

Clinical Care: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate midwifery care across all stages of pregnancy, birth and the

postnatal period. Promote safe, individualised care and advocate for women/birthing people, supporting their preferences

wherever clinically appropriate. Provide care for both low risk and complex cases, recognising when to escalate concerns

or seek additional clinical input. Community & Birth Centre Practice: Work flexibly across community settings and the

midwifery led Birth Centre, contributing to continuity of care, safe birth environments and effective team based care.

Support homebirths and waterbirths in line with Trust pathways and professional guidance. Communication & Relationships:
