About the Role

As an Intensive Worker with Hampshire County Council, you will provide essential support to families facing complex challenges. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, intensive support and tailored interventions to families.
  • Work with children and families facing a wide range of complex needs.
  • Facilitate meaningful, sustainable change through direct work.
  • Collaborate with professionals to plan coordinated support.
  • Complete reports and assessments, including court reports.

Requirements

  • Experience working directly with parents and families.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Proficient IT skills for clear report writing.

Compensation

Salary range is £33,178 - £36,369 pro-rata, per annum.

Location & Schedule

Work location is South West Hampshire, covering New Forest, Eastleigh, and Winchester. Hours are 37 or 27 per week.
