Junior Clinical Fellow in Thoracic Surgery

About the Role

Responsibility for the day-to-day management of thoracic surgery in-patients under the supervision of the consultant

team. Liaising with on-call consultant and nursing staff regarding emergency and non-elective referrals. Regular

attendance in theatres and out-patient clinics Administration including production of discharge summaries, clinic

letters and the communication of pathology results to referring trusts Contribution to departmental teaching, research

and clinical audit
