Junior sister - Community Children's Nurse

About the Role

Provide high quality nursing care for children and young people in the London borough of Newham, which is planned and

delivered, reviewed and evaluated within the clients home, wound dressing clinic or other appropriate setting within the

community using family centered, evidence based practice. Assess and order equipment and supplies for the child or young

person to enable them to manage their condition safely in the community setting, including regular reassessments

dependent on the changing needs of the child/young person. Provide initial triage and assessment of new referrals to the

service, identifying where urgent response is required and allocating to staff, based on staff logistics and skill mix.
