About the Role

Our Catering Assistants make delicious and nourishing meals for people with a range of dietary requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with basic food preparation
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
  • Cleaning and sanitising all tableware
  • Understanding people’s needs to help develop suitable menus
  • Interacting with residents for meal feedback
  • Complying with food hygiene standards
  • Being a great team player

Requirements

We value relevant experience, but it’s not essential. You should have:

  • Understanding of food hygiene
  • High personal hygiene standards
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Good communication abilities

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is £13.68. Additional benefits may apply.

Location & Schedule

This position is based at Scotia Heights care home in Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 4HA.
