About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Lead Nurse to join a leading mental health hospital in South West London. This role involves providing expert clinical support, overseeing patient care, and leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality treatment for various mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist clinical knowledge to the nursing team.
  • Oversee clinical and care needs of all service users.
  • Conduct proactive clinical risk assessments and management.
  • Review and challenge nursing practices constructively.
  • Educate and develop Registered Nurses and HCAs.
  • Provide clinical supervision and reflective practice sessions.
  • Undertake competency assessments with nursing staff.

Requirements

  • Qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with active NMC Pin.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Confident clinical leader across organisational boundaries.
  • Exceptional communication skills tailored to individuals.
  • Adept at collaborating with diverse colleagues.

Compensation

The successful Lead Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £50,375 – £56,329 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role working 38.5 hours a week.

Location & Schedule

Based in South West London, this is a full-time position requiring 38.5 hours per week.
