About the Role
In this role, you’ll combine strong clinical skills with the ability to guide, coach, and inspire a small, dedicated team. You’ll ensure that every service user receives safe, compassionate, and effective care while supporting the development of your colleagues.
- 3 days per week supernumerary (9am – 5pm)
- 1 day per week leading on the floor (7:45am – 8pm)
- Deputise for senior leadership when required
- Ensure clinical team remains visible and effective
- Align with best practice standards
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective patient care
- Mentor and coach nursing staff
- Manage care planning and incident management
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance
- Communicate effectively with team and patients
Requirements
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous leadership experience as a Ward Manager or Band 6/7 Senior Nurse
- Passion for substance misuse care
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
