Lead Pharmacy Technician, Education and Training
About the Role
Leading and co-ordinating the training of pharmacy technical staff, maintaining the highest professional standards and
ensuring trainees comply with all pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Health and Safety and Human Resources
policies and procedures in partnership with team leaders and Strategic Leadership Team. Co-ordinate NVQ training for
pharmacy staff and ensure adequate training and validation of new assessors and internal verifiers. Contribute to the
planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of pharmacy medicines management initiatives that support safe, effective
and timely admission and discharge processes across inpatient wards. Carry out medicines reconciliation using the
