Lecturer in Computing - London

About the Role

We are seeking a Lecturer in Computing to join our team at GBS UK. This role involves teaching undergraduate students in our BSc (Hons) Computing programme, focusing on technology, software, and data. You will develop course materials and assess student performance while staying current with industry trends and educational practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess student work effectively.
• Develop and improve course materials regularly.
• Utilize diverse teaching methods and materials.
• Engage in staff development and administrative duties.
• Stay updated on developments in your field.
• Work towards defined student objectives and outcomes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant subject area; PhD preferred.
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience is essential.
• Extensive knowledge in programming, web development, or cybersecurity.
• Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation
