Leg Ulcer Clinic Support Worker

About the Role

Job Purpose To work as part of the Leg Ulcer Clinic Team providing support to patients and the team. To undertake

delegated tasks and work without supervision where appropriate, reporting back to the responsible clinician. Dimensions

To perform various clinical procedures within a clinic setting which could include, recording TPR, B/P and recording

ankle brachial pressure readings To provide wound and skin care within the clinic, removing bandages, cleaning wounds

andapplying treatments to wounds and skin To apply non- complex compression bandaging To check and order supplies for

use within the service To maintain clinical care records according to organisational policy To ensure treatment areas
