Leg Ulcer Specialist Nurse

responsibilities include: Assist the clinical leads to manage the nurse-led leg ulcer service, meeting the needs of

patients within the contracted localities. This includes triaging referrals, monitoring/managing waiting lists and

assessing patients in line with contracted requirements. Support the clinical leads in the provision of the necessary

training for nurses within Hertfordshire in evidence-based leg ulcer management through the development, implementation

and evaluation of theoretical and practical training programmes as appropriate. Promote a leg ulcer service philosophy
