About the Role
NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education (or equivalent).
Previous experience in working with young children (under 5’s) desired (this could be in a paid or voluntary capacity).
Have a good understanding of childcare and childcare development.
Aware of Childcare Legislation and the Statutory Framework.
Good knowledge of the Early years Foundation Stage/Development Matters.
Understanding of how to plan and carry out activities to support children’s learning and development, and how to extend
