About the Role
As a live-in care assistant, you'll live in a client's home for a period of two weeks or more, providing dedicated, personalised support. This vital role allows our clients to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily routines like washing and dressing
- Preparing meals, light housekeeping, and running errands
- Companionship, engaging in activities, and providing emotional support
- Prompting medication and monitoring general well-being
- Tailoring duties to meet specific client needs
Requirements
- At least two years of professional care experience
- Strong understanding of dementia, stroke, and Parkinson's disease
- Experience with end-of-life care is a plus
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check required
