About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Locum Consultant to join our Older People’s Medicine department to cover
maternity leave, provisionally from 1stMarch 2026 until 31stOctober. The post is to cover a general geriatric ward with
22 patients and to contribute to frailty sessions.
We expect daily consultant presence on the acute wards with daily MDT board rounds and review of new admissions and
unwell patients and twice weekly ward rounds. We support a 7-day acute frailty service and frailty virtual ward as well
as weekly ward rounds of our community inpatients.
