About the Role
Applications are invited for the Locum Consultant in Dermatology position at Addenbrookes Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, for a 6-month term. The role involves providing comprehensive dermatology services, including outpatient clinics and procedures, while supporting and training nursing and junior medical staff in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient clinics for inflammatory skin disease and skin cancer.
- Support, train, and govern nursing and junior medical staff.
- Deliver comprehensive dermatology services, including inpatient care.
- Participate in clinical audits and continuing professional development.
- Contribute to Trust and CBU Clinical Governance processes.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration with a CCT in Dermatology preferred.
- Effective communication skills in English, as per GMC standards.
- Non-UK applicants must have IELTS/OET for GMC license.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to comply with appraisal and revalidation requirements.
