About the Role

Emergency Medicine in East Kent Hospitals is at an exciting period of redevelopment, having attracted national

investment to rebuild the Emergency Department at our William Harvey Hospital.

Our Emergency Departments provide innovative and fast paced integrated emergency care to a wide range of patients from

East Kent. It is our inspiration to develop into an academic and research unit in emergency medicine for Kent. Each of

our Emergency Departments offer a full 24-hour emergency service. The Emergency Departments are supported by co-located

Urgent Treatment Centres, a 24-hour UTC at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital with a further 7 community UTCs in the
