Locum Consultant in Neonatology
About the Role
The post-holder will share responsibility with the existing consultant staff to: Participate in the administration and
development of neonatal intensive care at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital as well as the Postnatal Ward with the
service director and consultant colleagues. Carry out neonatal out-patient clinics in two of 12 week cycle. These are
joint clinics. There is a very well organised, fully comprehensive paediatric outpatient department. One tier 1 and one
tier 2 grade trainee are in attendance but essentially for teaching purposes. Clinically supervise and train junior
medical staff in the care of sick babies on the Neonatal Unit and in resuscitation of babies on the Labour Ward and in
