Locum consultant in Paediatric Dentistry
About the Role
Clinical duties Provision of a Paediatric Dentistry consultant service for patients referred from hospital colleagues,
general medical and dental practitioners, and the community dental services across the region and Birmingham Dental
Hospital. To develop and expand already established patient pathways across the region. Provision of a treatment service
for the more complex cases that are referred, working in close liaison with medical, surgical, and dental colleagues to
provide an integrated service. Provision of specialist care under inhalation sedation for children with behavioural
problems and dental phobias. To provide support to multidisciplinary teams where paediatric dentistry is already
