Locum Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes
About the Role
On call arrangements There is a 1-in-6.5 WTE on call commitment attached to this post, covering all clinical aspects of
diabetes and endocrinology on tertiary level, including inpatient endocrine and diabetes ward rounds when on-call at
weekends. On-call tertiary endocrinology support is also provided to the regional DGH services. On call is re-numerated
with category A, supplement included in DCC PA commitment. On-call cover for Diabetes Home Care (outpatient) is provided
by the Diabetes Specialist Nurses, and occasionally, to cover holidays and sickness, by the consultants. Teaching The
post holder will be expected to engage in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and the training of other
