About the Role
This is a full-time locum consultant appointment for a fixed term of 12 months in response to the resignation of
previous staff. The successful applicant would join a team of 19 Consultants.
Candidates should have a primary interest in breast, upper gastrointestinal (Upper GI) and hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB)
cancers, although other interests may be accommodated. Due to the nature of these disease sites, the post would be well
suited to a medical oncologist, although applications from clinical oncologists will also be welcomed. The post holder
will be joining a team of three clinical oncologists, one medical oncologist and a nurse consultant in the Breast Team,
