Locum Fixed Term Consultant Paediatrician

About the Role

Acute work *Inpatient admissions including a four bedded paediatric High Dependency Unit, the Paediatric Assessment Unit

and paediatric referrals from the emergency department. You will be directly involved in the stabilisation of sick

children requiring intensive care transfer. *We provide clinical support and access to HDU and inpatient care for sick

and complex children and those requiring long stay admission from the Children's Assessment Unit at Good Hope Hospital.

There is integration and co-operation between consultant and nursing teams across sites with frequent transfer of

patients to Heartlands from Good Hope Site * On call frequency will be approximately 1:12. This will require onsite
