About the Role
The Long-Acting Reversible Contraception Healthcare Assistant supports the delivery of community-based Long-Acting
Reversible Contraception services across Barking & Dagenham. Working as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, the
post holder provides clinical and administrative support to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care. Duties
include preparing clinical environments, supporting clinicians during LARC procedures, welcoming and supporting
patients, maintaining accurate clinical records, and managing stock and equipment. The role contributes to high-quality
service delivery in line with organisational policies, clinical governance requirements, and agreed care pathways.
