Long Term Ventilation Nurse
About the Role
To contribute to the delivery of care on shift including end of life care if required. Mentor new staff in relation to
LTV care. The post holder will work in collaboration with other services providing care and support for the child /
young person and family. To work as part of a team supporting a ventilator dependent child within the hospice/ community
setting and to continue that support independently within the hospice and wider community. To be a designated lead for
LTV care. Contribute to LTV service and care developments, including policy and procedures, under the clinical direction
of the locality Matrons to ensure provision of holistic care and support to children with LTV care needs. Deliver LTV
