About the Role
A key component of this role is for the practitioner to work competently at an enhanced practice level providing care
aligned to the four pillars of advanced practice. It is envisaged that 80% of this role will be spent working in the
clinical area, as part of an agreed job plan.This role requires the practitioner to provide specialist oncology advice,
assessment and review of patients with suspected or known cancer diagnosis. The speciality is currently in the process
of implementing the Aspirant Cancer Career Education and Development Framework (ACCEND) to support practice and career
development. The Lung Cancer CNS will work as part of the Lung Cancer service to enable the facilitation and
