About the Role

The Nurse Specialist will provide support for the patient and family from diagnosis through treatment and throughout the

cancer journey. Using advanced communication and psychological assessment skills the CNS will aim to assess and

alleviate the psychological distress for cancer patients and their families, including identification of need for onward

referral to other agencies and disciplines as appropriate.
