About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Lung Cancer Specialist Nursing team at Arrowe Park hospital.

As part of the existing team the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for the patient and

family from diagnosis through treatment and throughout the cancer journey. Using advanced communication and

psychological assessment skills the CNS will aim to assess and alleviate the psychological distress for cancer patients

and their families, including identification of need for onward referral to other agencies and disciplines as

appropriate
