Maintenance Assistant

About the Role

The Maintenance Assistant shall undertake routine semi-skilled planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and

breakdown tasks works, under the guidance of Maintenance Officer, technicians and provide backup for craftsman, on all

aspects of Hospital plant and equipment that does not justify the attention of a fully qualified tradesman.

You will work as a flexible member of the maintenance team managed in the most effective way and that all planned

maintenance and reactive repairs are carried out in the most efficient way and that all regulations, health and safety

requirements have been carried out, recording and logging readings, carrying out basic adjustments and repairs with
