About the Role

As Maintenance Assistant, you will take pride in maintaining the care home to the highest possible standard. You will

carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance work, from small day-to-day fixes to supporting larger improvement

projects. Your duties will include checking and maintaining equipment, ensuring safety systems and fire alarms are fully

operational, and keeping the building and outdoor areas clean, safe and in good condition. You will monitor maintenance

logs, manage minor installations, and work closely with the Home Manager to ensure compliance with all health and safety

regulations. A flexible approach is essential, as occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet the needs
