About the Role
As a Maintenance Operative at Careline Lifestyles, you will ensure the safety and upkeep of the premises through regular inspections and maintenance tasks. Your role is essential in creating a safe environment for residents by addressing health and safety hazards promptly and maintaining equipment and facilities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections for health and safety hazards
- Maintain an electronic maintenance log
- Verify tasks with the Manager, except in emergencies
- Ensure proper functioning of lights and heating systems
- Organize and test fire safety equipment
- Carry out weekly fire drills and document findings
- Maintain tidy gardens and fire exit areas
- Be flexible with new tasks as required

Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is £13.42.
Location & Schedule
Located at Brunel Terrace, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Full-time, 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
