About the Role

Join Caring Homes Group as a Maintenance Person at Horsell Lodge, Woking. In this full-time role, you will ensure the safety and comfort of residents by performing essential maintenance tasks in a supportive environment. Your contributions will help create a home-like atmosphere for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the building.
• Conduct repairs including plumbing, electrical, and painting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work.
• Collaborate with external contractors as needed.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a maintenance operative or similar role.
• Ability to perform a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to respond to emergencies outside regular hours.
• A valid driver's license.

Compensation

£14.01 per hour, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

Location & Schedule

Full-time position, 40 hours per week at Horsell Lodge, Woking.
