About the Role
A Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker is needed to support an individual with physical disabilities and Autism in the Lanark area. This role involves providing one-on-one care, assisting with personal care, medication, meal preparation, and promoting independent living through various activities. A proactive and friendly approach is essential.
Responsibilities
- Attend to personal care needs
- Assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and healthy snacks
- Support mobility and daily living tasks
- Drive a mobility vehicle as needed
- Encourage participation in social activities
Requirements
- Driver's license required for mobility vehicle
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Respectful and friendly nature
- Experience preferred but not essential
- Comfortable with household pets

Compensation
