About the Role

The maternal medicine midwife will provide specialist, high quality, effective midwifery care to women and birthing

people with complex medical conditions during the antenatal period. The post holder will work both autonomously and

collaboratively within the maternal medicine team to promote safe individualised care.

The post holder will work alongside the maternal medicine team to provide a safe, efficient and quality driven service

and along with the Band 7 team leader be a key point of contact for women.

The role will involve coordinating care pathways, ensure these are documented in notes and liaise with the appropriate
