About the Role
Barts Health NHS Trust has a world-wide reputation for innovation in the care of mothers to be, and each birth is very
special to us and we strive to make every birth as normal as possible, no matter what the complications.
The Trust provides maternity care to over 16,500 women including a homebirth service on all 3 maternity sites. Our
client group includes many women with complex clinical conditions. To support our care of both mum and baby we have a
Level 3 Neonatal Unit situated at the Royal London Site, a level 2 Neonatal Unit situated at the Newham Site and we have
excellent facilities in Fetal Medicine. We also have a stand-alone midwifery-led Birth Centre’s situated in the Isle of
