About the Role

To provide an efficient and friendly service to patients, visitors and colleagues, handling enquiries promptly. To

ensure all patient details entered onto Careflow are correct and carried out in a timely manner. To assist nursing and

midwifery staff in ensuring that the highest possible standard of patient care is achieved. To maintain confidentiality.

To provide an efficient and friendly service to patients, visitors and colleagues either at reception or by telephone.

To liaise with staff on the unit and hospital security staff to ensure the safety and security of mothers and babies on

the unit. To liaise with wards regarding Admissions, Transfers and Discharges and prepare relevant documentation and
