About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
The post holder will be expected to undertake all the duties associated with the Maternity Support Worker Band 4 Job
Description. In addition, the post holder will have the skills, knowledge, and competence to provide a high quality,
safe and effective service in order to care for women and babies within the obstetric perioperative area. Working under
the supervision of a Registered Midwife, the post holder will practise a range of tasks and roles in the Maternity
perioperative setting, delegated by the midwife providing direct care to women, their partners, and babies.
