Maternity Support Worker for Outpatients Department
About the Role
As a member of the maternity team, you will support and closely work with registered midwives and sonographers to
deliver a high standard of care to women in a caring and safe environment. To work as part of the wider ward team in
developing and maintaining services provided to women and contribute to the safe, efficient and smooth running of the
ward/clinical area. To maintain the dignity and privacy of all women and respect their right to confidentiality.To
complete and maintain on an ongoing basis a generic and specific portfolio of clinical competencies and/or the Care
Certificate as required. To review progress with line manager at regular intervals andthrough the appraisal process.
