About the Role
See attached job description To provide professional leadership and line management to senior Nursing/Midwifery staff
including ward and departmental Sisters & Charge Nurses / Midwives, Clinical Nurse / Midwifery Specialists and Advanced
Practitioners. To ensure that all direct reports have an annual appraisal with periodic reviews and have a current
personal development plan (PDP). To develop and lead a recruitment and retention strategy for Nursing / Midwifery and
Support Workers in collaboration with the Divisional Human Resources Team, Divisional Nurse/ Head of Midwifery and
ward/departmental leads
