About the Role

The Medical Examiner Service at the NNUH is seeking experienced senior clinicians to join our team as Medical Examiners.

We welcome applications from both Consultants and GP's.

Medical Examiners play a vital role in ensuring accuracy and transparency within the death certification process. This

role requires senior clinical expertise, sound judgement, strong communication skills, and a respectful approach when

engaging with bereaved families and external stakeholders. Medical Examiners are trained in both the clinical and legal

aspects of certification and are supported to complete mandatory national training and the RCPath ME training day within
