Medical Receptionist
About the Role
Key Responsibilities Provide a warm, professional welcome to all patients and visitors. Answer and manage telephone
calls, emails, and online requests promptly. Book, amend, and cancel patient appointments using the clinical system
(SystmOne). Process repeat prescription requests and other patient queries in line with practice policy. Maintain
accurate patient records and confidentiality at all times (GDPR compliant). Assist with new patient registrations and
changes to records. Liaise with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support smooth running of clinics.
Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, coding, filing, and data entry. Signpost patients to the correct services
