Melanoma Clinical Nurse Specialist
About the Role
Key Duties: To be a point of contact/ keyworker for patients with Melanoma that are undergoing SACT or in the advanced
stage of their disease Working autonomously, maintain a caseload of patients and demonstrate practice in holistic needs
assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care promoting the philosophy of person-centred care for patients
with Melanoma. Provide nurse-led clinics for Melanoma patients undergoing treatment, assessing, diagnosing and managing
complications of treatment and disease. Utilising advanced communication skills when discussing diagnosis, prognosis,
and treatment options for Melanoma with sensitivity and expertise. Assess educational and information needs for patients
